Double victory for Anne Grether
13 June 202313/06/2023 – The Bo Ranch Derby & Maturity scheduled for last week at the BO Ranch in La Chapelle La Reine (FRA) was ‘hot’ and the Champions have been crowned. Both the $ 2.500 added L2 Limited Non Pro Derby Champion title and the $ 3.600 added L4 Non Pro Derby Champion title were claimed by Alexandre Giarratano (FRA) and the 5-year-old stallion The Electric Bandit [Dont Miss My Guns], marking a 219,5. Reserve honors in both divisions were for Jessica Sternberg (GBR) and the 7-year-old mare A Ruff Spookin Gal [Smart Spook]. In de Open division Anne Grether (NED) and the 5-year-old mare TR Voodoo Doll [Shiners Voordoo Dr] owned by RS Reininghorses BV surprisingly claimed the title in both the $ 3.500 added L2 Limited Open- and $ 6.500 added L4 Open division marking a 222,5. This mare has been showed by Gabe Hutchins over the past 2 years in the USA and Anne just got to know her by the end of last year. The first international show on European soil turned out to be a good one. Reserve honors in both divisions were for Designer Spook [Smart Spook], owned by Rosanne Sternberg and ridden by Stefano Ferri (ITA) marking a 221,0.
In the Maturity the Belgian entries did well. In the $ 1.600 added L2 Limited Non Pro division Thomas Hardy and the 13-year/old stallion ND Winchester Gun [Gunner] posted a 216,0, claiming reserve honors. Posting a 211,5 Elisabeth Moonen and the 13-year-old gelding Kayleigh [Playing it Out] claimed step 3 of the podium. Both the title and the $ 3.000 added L4 Non Po Champion title were claimed by Constant Lastel (FRA) and the 9-year-old stallion King Joes Whiz [JD Colonel Whiz], marking a 216,5. In the $ 1.800 added L2 Limited Open Maturity Rudy Tasia and the 9-year-old mare KD Sniper [One Gun] owned by Sabrina Schneiter claimed the reserve title marking a 214,5. The title was granted to the 11-year old stalling Customized Whizcrome [Custom Black Crome] owned by Pascale de Decker and ridden by Christelle Graffeuil (FRA), marking a 216,5. Anne Grether and ‘good old’ 17-year-old Wimpys Little Tejano [Wimpys Little Step] owned by Reininghorses BV placed 3rd marking a 213,5. The 3.000 added L4 Open Maturity title was granted to the 9-year-old stallion Reloaded Gun [Gunner] owned by and ridden by Axel Pesek (FRA); Reserve honors, posting a 219,0 were for the 11-year-old mare Smart Trufle [Smart Spook] ridden by Clémence Neveux (FRA) and owned by Marc Levere. Matyas Gobert (BEL) piloted the 10-year-old stallion Trashy Surprise [Gunnatrashya] owned by AT Reining Dream to the third step of the podium marking a 218,5.
