9 July 202309/07/2023 – The last finals of the World Reining Championship scheduled for July 6-8 at the CS Ranch in Givrins (SUI) were the € 50.000 added individual finals Open Senior Riders concluded yesterday. The performance level was high, but at the current level marking a 73,0 is just not enough anymore. Towards the end of the class Czech Lukasz Czechowicz and the 5-year-old stallion SCG Wisemanfear [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Katarzyna Roleska set the bar at 223,0. With only 2 more combinations to go, German Non Pro rider Gina Maria Schumacher with the 9-year-old gelding All Right Magnum [Magnum Chic Dream] and Italian Nico Sicuro with the 9-year-old stallion Colonels Dancing Gun [Gunner] owned by Quarter Dream SRL, Belgian Bernard Fonck and the 7-year-old stallion ND Pop Gun Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by Nathalie Derua took over the lead marking a 225,5. Schumacher did fine but also touched the penalty box, resulting in a 220,0. Sicuro performed to the max, just like Fonck, but this horse was just a little bit more talented in the spins and stronger in the circles, resulting in a 228,5 score. Gold for Sicuro, silver for Fonck and bronze for Czechowicz
