NRHA European Derby Open finals

04/11/2023 – The finals of the $ 73.202-, $ 41.777-, $ 30.565- and $ 15.853 added NRHA European Open Derby scheduled in conjunction with Equitá Lyon (FR) will start today at 13:00 hours CET. In the preliminaries several Dutch- and Belgian combinations have qualified for these finals.
Youth rider Jody Fonck (BEL) qualified the 6-year-old stallion Arnels Spat Olena[Spat Olena] owned by Sabrina Adam with a 216,5 for both the L1-, L2- and L3 finals. This was the leading score in L1. In L2 Markus Gebert (GER) and the 5-year-old stallion Spooksgottacoolstep [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Angelika Gebert took the lead posting a 219,5 and in L3 Andrea Costa (ITA) and the 7-year-old gelding TR Reinman [Shine Chic Shine] owned by Christian-Peter Zinsli took the lead posting a 220,0. With a 212,0 Jody also qualified the 5-year old stallion Sail On Chexx [Chexolution] owned by Eyal Carmon for the L1 finals.
Posting a 209,0 Rudy Tasia (BEL) qualified the 7-year-old mare Late Nite Special [Gunners Special Nite] owned by Dominique Lupsin for the L1 finals.
Petra van Ede (NED) qualified the 5-year-old gelding Custom Crome Olena [Crome Dont Corrode] owned by n Lisa Ender with a 217,5 and the 7-year-old gelding Gonnashowya [Gunnatrashya] owned by Lysbeth de Boer with a 216,5 for both the L3- and L4 finals. Quentin Galliere (FRA) is giving the L3- and L4 finals an extra Dutch touch: with a 217,0 he qualified the 7-year-old stallion Tinsel Whizington[Tinsel Jac] owned by Sharon de Groot.
In the L4 preliminary round Bernard Fonck (BEL) and the 7-year-old stallion ND Pop Gun Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by Nathalie Derua took the lead posting a 221,5. Posting a 219,5 Fonck also qualified the 5-year-old stallion GP The Stud In Town [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Golden Paint Ranch and with a 218,0 the 7-year-old stallion Mello Yello Yersey [Yellow Jersey] owned by Kay Schröder voor de L4 finals.
With a 221,0 Ann Fonck (BEL) qualified the 8-year-old stallion Spook Unchained [Smart Spook] owned by Anna Reinhart and with a 219,5 the 7-year-old gelding Colonels Whize Gun [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Hermann en Lisa Meinert for the L4 finals.
Tiara van Dongen (NED)qualified the 5-year-old mare Orangeisthenublack [Smart Spook] owned by Gisela Haas for the L4 finals posting a 221,0.
