AC Einsteins In Like and Ruggeri IRHA L2 and L3 Open Futurity Champion
19 November 202319/11/2023 – 47 Combinations in total entered the finals of the IRHA Open Futurity for 4-year-old horses concluded last Friday in Cremona (ITA). Sky-high scores like we have seen over the past month remained. Presumably due to the quality of the footing, because many entries encountered problems in the stops and rollbacks.
Marking a 216,0. the $ 5.457 added L1 Futurity Champion title was rewarded to Iam A Voodoo Dr [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Jaqueline Seger and ridden by Youth rider Jody Fonck (BE). The combination also placed 7th in the $ 9.822 added L2 division. By marking a 219,0 the L2 Futurity Champion title as well as the $ 20.736 added L3 Futurity Champion title was awarded to AC Einsteins In Like [In Like Flinn] owned by Alessandro Marrapese and ridden by Massimiliano Ruggeri (IT). Apart from the earnings at this show, Ruggeri has added > $ 35.631 to the record of the young stallion already since May this year: a promising combination.
Marking a 214,5 Jasmin Andersdotter (DE) piloted Sparkling And Spooky [A Sparkling Vintage] owned by Alina Sira Herzlinger L1 reserve honors. Third place, marking a 211,5 was for Chocolate With Rico [Ricochet Rooster] owned by 23 QH Azienda Agricola SS and ridden by Alessandro Pinto (IT).
In both the L2- and L3 Stefano Angelucci (ITA) piloted GH Walla Walla Donna [Walla Walla Whiz] owned by Angelucci Quarter Horses to reserve honors marking a 218,5. The 3rd step of the podium came short. With Frozen Gerda Tari [Frozen Sailor], also owned by Angelucci Quarter Horses, Stefano marked a 216,5 and so did Tomas Martinek (CZE) with Westrashya [Gunnatrashya] owned by Petr Julina, Christian Baldelli (ITA) with Spook Gotta Pistol [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Martina Baldelli and Emanuel Ernst (GER) with VH Tony Spark [Smart N Sparking] owned by Kathrin Vetter. Baldelli and Ernst got some more room on step 3 of the L3 podium.
