First NRHA EAC Champions have been crowned
14 July 202314/07/2023 – The NRHA European Affiliate Championship (EAC) kicked off today at the CS Ranch in Givrins (SUI). On the previous days the participants had the opportunity to enter the corresponding classes of the ancillary CS Classic NRHA show.
In the $ 200 added EAC Rookie class (28 entries) Patricia Künzli (CH) and the 5-year-old gelding Shiners Dreamer [Shiners Voodoo Dr] claimed the title posting a 211,0. Reserve honors were for the only 10-years-old Emma Louise Eggen (NOR) and the 7-year-old gelding Gunna Spook [Spooks Gotta Gun] marking a 210,5. Both Marie Verschueren (BEL) and the 10-year-old mare SG Gunnerspecialwhiz [Gunners Special Nite] and Manuela Ernst (GER) and the 12-year-old gelding Just Docs Hollywood [ML Doc Holywood] posted a 210,0, tying for 3rd place.
The $ 2000 added EAC Limited Open class (19) was run concurrent with $ 5.000 added EAC Intermediate Open class (18). Posting a 217,5 Quentin Galliere (FRA) and the 7-year-old stallion hengst Tinsel Whizington [Tinsel Jac] owned by Sharon de Groot claimed the title in both classes. Posting a 217,0 the reserve title in both classes was for the 5-year-old mare TR Voodoo Doll [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by RS Reininghorses BV and ridden by Anne Grether (NLD). Marking a 215,5 Peter Ljungberg (SWE) piloted the 6-year-old mare SG Whizing For Guns [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Jens Jelgard to 3rd place in both classes.
